This policy explains how the operator of this website, which does business as Sundial Driveway Repair, handles information collected through the site. It covers the website only.

What the site collects

When you send the estimate form or the resources form. The form asks for the service or situation and your ZIP code, then your first name, phone number and, if you choose, your last name, email address and a message describing the work. Along with those answers the form sends the page you sent it from, a short label for how you reached the site (for example “Google Organic”, “Referral” or “Direct”), a random request ID that prevents duplicate submissions, and the result of a spam check.

When you browse. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how fast pages load. It does not use cookies for this and does not build a profile of you; it reports totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types.

In your browser. To label how you first reached the site, the page keeps that label in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab. If you use the resources form, session storage also remembers that the download is available. Neither is a cookie, and neither is sent anywhere except with a form you choose to submit.

When you call. Information you give on a call is used the same way as information sent through the form.

How the information is used

Form and call details are used to respond to your request, prepare an estimate, arrange and manage the work, and keep ordinary business records. The form travels from your browser to this website’s own server, which passes it to the operator’s customer management system. Your request is then shared with the licensed and insured contractor who would carry out the work, so they can contact you and prepare an estimate.

The site does not sell personal information, does not use it for advertising networks and does not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Services that process information

• Cloudflare hosts the site, provides the analytics described above, and runs Turnstile, a check that tells people apart from automated spam. Turnstile loads when you start filling in a form and processes technical details such as your IP address and browser characteristics for that purpose. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy applies to that processing.
• The operator’s customer management system stores form submissions so they can be answered and routed.
• The contractor assigned to your request receives the details needed to contact you and do the work.

How long information is kept

Form submissions and related records are kept for as long as they are needed to answer the request, manage any work that follows and meet ordinary record-keeping needs, and then deleted or anonymized.

Your choices

You don’t have to send anything to use the site, the guides or the free tools. If you have sent a request and want to see, correct or delete the information, or want no further contact, use the phone number or form on the contact page and say so.

Children

The site is meant for adults arranging work on a property and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
