Driveway Quote Comparison Checklist
A two-page sheet for putting up to three driveway quotes side by side, so you compare the work each one includes rather than the totals.
What the checklist covers
Two driveway quotes for the same job can differ by thousands of dollars because they describe different work. One fills the cracks; another cuts out the failed panel and rebuilds the base under it. One includes the city permit and haul-off; the other leaves both out. Sundial Driveway Repair put this checklist together so each quote gets its own column and the gaps show up before you sign.
It runs through five groups of questions:
- Who is doing the work: the Arizona Registrar of Contractors license number, whether the classification fits the job, and proof of insurance.
- What is being fixed, and how: measured area, the named method, the cause, base repair, thickness, joints, drainage and the transitions at the garage, sidewalk and curb.
- Site, permits and cleanup: haul-off, the city right-of-way permit and who gets it, HOA approval and landscape restoration.
- Schedule and curing: summer pour timing, how the concrete is kept damp, and when you can drive on it.
- Price and terms: what the total includes, written exclusions, how hidden conditions are priced, and the payment schedule.
A short list of things worth a second look closes it out. For the reasoning behind each line, the driveway repair cost guide explains what sits inside a Phoenix price, and the contractor license guide shows how to look up a license.
